Happy Halloween and all that.
Weird flash-sheet-type-thing. For re-usable elements in vectors.

Vectorise This

My idea of fun is sitting around turning loads of drawings into vectors. I was mostly thinking about t-shirt printability when I made these. Some I did just to mess about. But mainly for t-shirts and that sort of thing. Some worked better than others.

1. Worked really well. Thick lines. Detail remains. Possible shirt.

2. Blown up big on a shirt with some type.

3. Sort of worked... unsure. Blown up with the right typography could work really well.

4. Pretty much exactly as the drawing was only with black lips. Would work.

5. Hasn't really worked too well. Don't think this is strong enough compared to the others.

6. Love it. Might get this printed on a shirt just for myself. Again, blow it up large, full front of shirt, and put some type across the top.

7. Not so much for shirts. Was just playing about with the 'Love Is' set. Stylised them alot.

8. Not as strong as the last one, but that's because the original drawing wasn't as good.

9. Love this. Clean lines. Very, very clean.
10. Just because Sad Bear is awesome.

More Stickers

After all the fun I had making and sticking my stickers the other week I thought I'd knock up a few more in a different design. I went with the stumble woman as you can see. Works well. I think I'm going to make up a load of different designs to stick about the place. See how many I can fit onto a page. Like sticker Tetris. Only they won't dissapear.

January 28th 2011: Diamonds And Guns - Pin Up

Finally got around to doing something. Painting is good. Pin up with some tattoos, piercings and shaved head and stuff. Pretty happy with this although the left hand is a bit too small but it's not so easy to see. Loving the filligree pattern and little icons of the background. The guns pretty sweet as well. This is the first time I've done anything largeish in ages. It's been enjoyable. More to come I think.

Here's a close up of the facial/gun area, also with the best tattoo bit and showing the background more. The crop looks pretty good to be honest. Better composition.

December 20th 2010: Always Looking Anchored

Tight.
I think I've pretty much got this style down now. I love this one. I think the torso definitely makes it more interesting. Got the shading sorted. Tattoos look cool, adding an extra element, the hats bringing in some good qualities. Simple face with a bit of shading. The "Stumble" thing is becoming a theme. It's just an interesting word I like and I'm considering making a t-shirt company called Stumble so these would be some good designs. I think if it goes ahead this may well be the first desin I get printed. Purely because I want this on a t-shirt.

November 27th 2010: I'll Be Dead, But Never Dying

Quick smash up of a tattoo design, obviously not drawn equal sidedly, with colour, decent text or anything... but it's a rough idea of where things would be. Like it. Frank Turner Hardcore. Yeyah.

November 22nd 2010: Drop The Anchor

A mix up of all different kinds of interesting things and that. Like it. Piece an image together slowly out of individual silly bits of drawing and I enjoy it. More to come.

September 3rd 2010: Harpie Girl

Beware the breasts. They will tempt you. Ha.
I like this highlight situation around the main image.
I'm also pretty pleased with the font for something I made up.
