Los Muertos Y Sin Dios V.s. The Lost Soul

Getting down with The Dead And Godless. I love this typeface. I want to use it for everything. Logistically, stylistically and aesthetically that's either impossible or a really bad idea. But it'd be fun to try.

Lost soul.
Simple.
Take an older piece of work.
Vectorise it.
Introduce a black background.
Add a set of tiny upside down crucifixes.
Put your web address at the bottom.
Send it to the printers.
Coming soon to www.mercerdrawsthings.bigcartel.com

Professional Project: Illustration Number Six - Square Two

I jumped right passed square one, because that requires a completely new illustration, and just went for one that involves the MESSENGER craft.

I think this works well, I tried not to use any black in the craft so that it would stand out from the black background, I put a couple of gradients on the Earth to make it look a little more spherical. I think the colour of the arrow works well also, taken from the colour of the ones in 'Instructoart'. The typeface is bold but unobtrusive and I think I will have all of the text sitting in this position if possible.

November 22nd 2010: Drop The Anchor

A mix up of all different kinds of interesting things and that. Like it. Piece an image together slowly out of individual silly bits of drawing and I enjoy it. More to come.
