EMP Poster 1: Big Trouble In Little China - Exploding-Fat-Head-Guy

You've never seen anyone with a head this fat.

For those unfamiliar with the movie, there is a scene where a guy swells up and then his head explodes.
For the final poster some streams of smoke coming out of his nostrils will be added.

'Dear Godmachine' Or 'Dead By Dawn'

Finally finished.
This probably took the longest out of anything I've done this year.
Loving the little extras here and there & definitely need to get involved more with that typeface.

'Dear Godmachine' - Work In Progress 2

I've been busy a-vectoring.

I know using flares is a sin. But I like them sometimes.

Still a lot of work to do here.
Eyes, more colouring layers on the face, teeth, cross details, more colouring on the hair, gradients on the swirls, background, extras. Stay tuned.

Love Is Sweet - Digital

She's done.
Wanted to make it a little more subtle than 'Blind' so I didn't go in for all the crazy amount of detail in ruffles and highlights. Kept it simple, kept the shades closer together as well.
Green eyes. Always green eyes.
Ever seen 'Big Trouble in Little China'? No? You should.

Love Is Sweet - Work In Progress 2 - Nearly Done

Just a couple of things left to sort out. But pretty much finished with this one.
Until I find imperfections and spend ages more on it probably.

Dead Girls Don't Cry - Redo Again

The composition was still annoying me. I'll probably change it again in a couple of days.

Always Looking Envious

I've abandoned the dating system. Another piece that I found time to draw in between spending 14 hour days on Illustrator. This is one of my favourite pieces that I've done recently. I think that the face has worked really well, the red and the green are subtle but highlight the areas well and the tattoos just give detail.

January 12th 2011: Always Looking Jealous

First draw of 2011. I'm sticking with the dates thing because I like it. It shows progress. Jealous because of the green eyes. Contrasts well with red glasses. Few mistakes here and there, that's what you get for slackig off and not drawing properly for nearly two weeks. Stupid lazy new year.
