EMP Troll Hunter - Things In Progress

Packaging Concept in creation.
Trolls live in mountains.

It still needs finishing, the inside needs sorting out, going to add some grass flock to the bottom of the slopes & Troll Hunter lettering on the purposefully flat section on the front. Painted in a mid grey - wash in dark grey - add dry brush of light grey - white on the top.

Poster Illustration in progress.

Hand Drawn Kinetic Type #3: The Great repetition - Progress

Okay. So due to recent developments with this project I'm taking a lot more time, care and effort about the outcome, I'm making, working, scraping, re-making, re-working and occasionally re-scraping what I've done. But I'm fairly happy with what is below.
Got some 3D paper type and stuff.

These take about 20-30 minutes to make EACH, depending on which letter it is (except for 'I' which is easy).
I made 24 letters. Only 3 of which were 'I'. You do the math.

December 9th 2010: Yum/Yuck

My nod to Sarah Beetson. If you haven't heard of her go look. This piece is about the thin, thin line between love and hate and indecision. How one can easily become the other if you're not careful and such like. Pretty pleased with this. It took a while of adding different elements into corners and a lot of thinking about colours until I was happy with the composition. Really like the woman. Block black with a couple of areas of white with line details is definitely the new way forward. Made with paper bag, 03 drawing pen, brush pen and good, old fashioned, trusty coloured pencils.

June 12th 2010: Guns at Dawn

I quite liked yesterdays style so I though I'd try and give it a little more narrative.

June 4th 2010: Checkmate

I have come into an abundance of brown paper. Yes.
This is like... the Queen is chasing the King and she won't leave him alone and she doesn't understand it and it's all very aggrovating but he doesn't want to talk about it. Or it's a silly drawing. You decide.
