Pretty bodgy imagery to be honest. Splatter things with tipex. It's the way forward. This is my 300th post. Pretty good. I'm looking forward to number 500. Thats pretty landmark.

May 24th 2010: Back-combing and Layers

The most layered thing I've possibly ever done. I should really start using something other than 130gsm paper to use so much ink on. It goes curly. Anyway, this is definately my favourite piece that I've done in a while.

Ingredients:

Pencil

Black Graphics Pens, sizes: 02, 03 & 08

Coloured Fineliners: various

Metallic Brush Pen: blue (just for eyes)

Drawing Inks: various

Tipex (for highlights)

Soy Sauce (yes that's right, soy sauce for skin tone)

Acrylic paint: browns

Gouache: more browns and yellow
